Presets contain a snapshot of your effect configuration. 8 built-in presets are available.

When you save parameter configuration to a file on disk, this file can later be loaded to recreate the same effect configuration. Presets generated in one video application can be used by the same plug-in running in a different video application.

A point parameter centered in the frame by default.

While it is possible to change the X and Y coordinates via the inspector, it is far easier to interact with point parameters directly on-screen:

Set to 1.25 by default. Only values between 0 and 2 are allowed.

Set to 1 by default. Only values between 0.01 and 5 are allowed.

Set to 0.4 by default. Only values between 0 and 1 are allowed.

The following options are available:

• Linear
• Quadratic — initial selection
• Cubic
• Inverse Quadratic
• Inverse Cubic

The following options are available:

• Oval — default
• Rectangle
• Custom Media

Set to 0.5 by default. Only values between 0 and 1 are allowed.

Lets you provide additional media to the effect.

When no media has been assigned to this parameter, a standard checkerboard pattern is used to represent areas of the screen where your custom media is missing.

The user interface varies by host:

The following options are available:

• Interpret Custom Media as a matte track — default
• Select luminance range

Set to 0 by default. Only values between 0 and 1 are allowed.

Set to 0.1 by default. Only values between 0 and 1 are allowed.

Set to 0.25 by default. Only values between 0 and 1 are allowed.

On by default.

The following options are available:

• None
• Darken — default
• Overlay
• Add
• Over
• Difference

Set to 1 by default. Only values between 0 and 1 are allowed.

On by default.

Set to 0.15 by default. Only values between 0 and 1 are allowed.

The following options are available:

• None — default
• Outside only
• Inside only
• Entire frame

Set to 1.5 by default. Only values between 0.1 and 10 are allowed.
