Spot Light Wipe

Compatibility

Spot Light Wipe is compatible with Final Cut Pro, Motion, Premiere, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.

Parameters

Presets

Presets contain a snapshot of your effect configuration. 10 built-in presets are available.

When you save parameter configuration to a file on disk, this file can later be loaded to recreate the same effect configuration. Presets generated in one video application can be used by the same plug-in running in a different video application.

Wipe

Transition Layer

Lets you provide the destination clip of a transition effect when used in Motion or After Effects.

This parameter is not available in Final Cut Pro and Premiere since both video applications support transition effects natively.

Automatic Progress

Lets you control if a transition used in Motion or After Effects should animate automatically over the duration of the clip. When disabled, the transition must be animated by keyframing the Transition Progress parameter.

Transition Progress

Lets you animate a transition effect in Motion or After Effects. This parameter is only available when Automatic Progress is disabled.

Set to 25% by default.

Softness

Set to 25% by default.

Angle

Set to 0° by default.

Animate Angle

Off by default.

Angle (End)

Set to -45° by default.

Angle (Progress)

While it is possible to change the X and Y coordinates via the inspector, it is far easier to interact with point parameters directly on-screen:
