QR Code

Creates QR codes, bar codes and Aztec codes to be displayed in your videos.

Compatibility

QR Code is compatible with Final Cut Pro, Motion, Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Parameters

Presets

Presets contain a snapshot of your effect configuration. 3 built-in presets are available.

When you save parameter configuration to a file on disk, this file can later be loaded to recreate the same effect configuration. Presets generated in one video application can be used by the same plug-in running in a different video application.

Code

Type

The following options are available:

Message

The text you wish to encode in the selected code.

Code 128 Height

Height of the barcode.

Code 128 Margin

Margin around the barcode.

Aztec Layers

Maximum number of layers used to encode the message in an Aztec code.

Aztec Compact

Enables the compact form of an Aztec code.

Scale

Set to 50% by default.

Center

Location in the frame where the code is drawn.

A point parameter centered in the frame by default.

Initial location in the frame

While it is possible to change the X and Y coordinates via the inspector, it is far easier to interact with point parameters directly on-screen:

Roundness

Controls roundess of the corners.

Code

Color used to fill the code, traditionally black.

Background

Color used to fill the areas behind the code, traditionally white.

Border

Enable this parameter to add a border around the code. Additional parameters allow you to specify the border color, size and roundness.
