Compatibility

Screen Overlay is compatible with Final Cut Pro, Motion, Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Parameters

Presets

Presets contain a snapshot of your effect configuration. 8 built-in presets are available.

When you save parameter configuration to a file on disk, this file can later be loaded to recreate the same effect configuration. Presets generated in one video application can be used by the same plug-in running in a different video application.

Screen

Aspect Ratio

Aspect ratio of the simulated device.

Custom Aspect

A custom aspect ratio for the display.

Vertical

Orients the device vertically.

Center

Location of the overlay within the frame.

Angle

Set to by default.

Scale

Set to 0.5 by default. Only values between 0 and 1 are allowed.

Softness

Set to 10% by default.

Controls the softness of the display at its edges.

Screen

Screen color, may be set to transparent to allow video tracks below this generator to remain visible.

Background

Background color, may be set to transparent to have just the display remain visible on screen.

Border

When enabled, a border is drawn around the display, whose appearance is determined by the Border Thickness and Border Color parameters.

Feature

Feature

Adds a notch or Dynamic Island® to the display, as it would appear in popular iPhones. When enabled, the size and appearance of the selected feature is controlled by the Width, Height, Rounded Corners, Color, Align 1 and Align 2 parameters.
